When you select some text a mini toolbar appears lightly above in the right corner of the selected text.
Move your mouse toward the mini toolbar and it appears darker.
Move your mouse away from the mini toolbar and it disappears.
You can not edit or change the mini toolbar. It contains the most commonly used formatting items.
